Noise is a distracting irritant at worst and an elevating power at best. My “Drawn to Silence” series – where “So many words, so much noise” features – is an attempt to unpack those elements where I am aware that text has been drip fed into my subconscious all my life. Being “drawn to silence” is the outcome of being in the second half of life where there is a constant state of reflection – embracing the themes that empower and attempting to make sense of those that are questionable or no longer relevant for a living vitality.
