Place of Peace, Donna and Brad (Bray Park)
Enquire about this workTo create Place of Peace, Donna and Brad (Bray Park), Renata Buziak uses an experimental photographic process that she developed and called the biochrome. This process fuses plant samples and photographic emulsions over a period of time, allowing organic decomposition to transform both materials into new, abstract, yet often accurately depicted, images of plants.
“Because our garden is a little bit different and it’s a real place of peace for us, I guess that’s what we wanted to share more than anything. It’s certainly not about our wonderful grass or anything perfectly growing. It just is what it is. But it’s really special for us and I think especially over the last couple of years when we’ve tried to bring it to this contemplative space just to rest; a place of peace”. – Brad and Donna
